The Black Sea region consists of Ukraine, Georgia, Turkey, Russia, Bulgaria and Romania. Various freight ferry routes connect some of these countries.
As with most countries on the continent, Dover / Folkestone to Calais and Dover / Folkestone to Dunkerque are the most direct routes to Europe for HGVs and van couriers. From here, you then have several options to reach the countries surrounding the Black Sea.
Turkey to Ukraine

Both Sea Lines and UKRferry operate ferry services from Haydarpasa in Turkey to Chornomorsk in the Ukraine.
Sea Lines has been operating a RoRo ferry service on the Black Sea since 2011 and provides two crossings a week on this route. Each crossing takes approximately 26 hours.
UKRferry provides several routes across the Black Sea including one crossing per week on the Turkey - Ukraine crossing. This takes approximately 23 hours.
Bulgaria to Ukraine

Navibulgar operates one sailing a week from Varna in Bulgaria to Chornomorsk in the Ukraine with the crossing taking around 20 hours.
Bulgaria to Georgia
PB Management operates one sailing a week between the port of Burgas in Bulgaria and Batumi in Georgia. Each crossing takes around 72 hours.
Georgia to Bulgaria
Both PB Management and Navibulgar provide freight ferry services from Georgia to Bulgaria.
PB Management operates a 72 hour service, once a week from Batumi to Burgas.
Navibulgar also provides a 54 hour ferry service from Poti in Georgia to Varna in Bulgaria, sailing once a week.
Georgia to Ukraine

Two routes are available from Georgia to the Ukraine : Batumi to Chornomorsk and Poti to Chornomorsk. These routes are operated by UKRferry and Navibulgar.
Batumi to Chornomorsk sails once a week, taking around 34 hours.
There are two crossing a week from Poti to Chornomorsk. The Navibulgar sailing takes around 48 hours, while the UKRferry sailing takes 46 hours.
Ukraine to Turkey

Both UKRferry and Sea Lines operate ferry services from Chornomorsk in Ukraine to Haydarpasa in Turkey.
UKRferry operates one crossing per week, which takes around 24 hours.
Sea Lines provides two crossings per week with a sailing taking approximately 26 hours.
Ukraine to Georgia

Two routes are available from the Ukraine to Georgia : Chornomorsk to Batumi and Chornomorsk to Poti. These routes are operated by UKRferry and Navibulgar.
Chornomorsk to Batumi sails once a week, taking around 35 hours.
There are two sailing a week from Chornomorsk to Poti. The Navibulgar sailing takes around 48 hours, while the UKRferry sailing takes 82 hours.
